Enjoy free, family events with live music, and experience what makes Marathon City unique during the community’s upcoming Summer Fests. Three events will be held on the third Thursday of each month: June 18, July 16, and August 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot and grassy area of the Marathon City Branch Library.
Concessions will be available to purchase from vendors, including water, soda and ice cream sundaes. Attendees can enter drawings for a chance to win donated prizes. The event will feature live music from local musicians.
Marathon City’s 2015 Summer Fests are cosponsored by the Marathon City 2020 Project Committee and the Marathon Area Business Association. Organizers of the annual event are helping to raise awareness about the advantages of living and working in the community, and shopping at local Marathon businesses. Information will also highlight the Village’s goals and progress toward economic development on Main Street.
